How we do it

The Network of Young Professionals is a non-profit corporation.  A key to our ability to continue to produce excellent events and have a measurable impact on the quality of life and retention rates in the Lehigh Valley is financial support.

Financial support for the Network of Young Professionals comes from private donations, member dues, event sponsorships, grants and corporate partnerships.  Increased financial support of the NET is key to the organization's goals of increasing the quality of the events and for the first time retaining staff support so that more can be done to retain and attract young professionals in and to the Lehigh Valley.

Currently, the Network of Young Professionals has more than 700 members and growing.  The group is governed by four officers elected by the membership.  These officers are responsible for membership recruitment, planning activities and managing finances.  They set short and long-term goals for the group.  Several committees - Professional Development, Event Planning, Community Outreach, and others - work to plan activities that benefit members.  Also, to assist the officers, the NET has a board of advisors.
